Louisburgh Community Playgroup was established in 1981.  In 2005, It became a limited company, Louisburgh Childcare Ltd.  We moved to a new purpose built facility in September 2010 and the parent and toddler group was formed then.  We now provide preschool and full day childcare services at Cairde Caher and an after-school service at Louisburgh NS.
 
Louisburgh Childcare Ltd is a community childcare service. The overall responsibility for the running of the company rests with the voluntary board of directors. The service is supported by a fundraising committee. A fundraising committee is elected each year to help with the fundraising for the service. The fundraising committee is made up of parents/guardians of the children who attend the childcare services.

Parents/Guardians are invited to participate in all aspects of the childcare services we run.  The staff and parents work together to promote a respectful and holistic approach to the children and their development.
