Welcome to the Community Creche at Louisburgh Childcare
A purpose-built facility set up to meet the childcare needs of the local community
Community Creche
The creche at Louisburgh Childcare is a community creche and is operated under the stewardship of the Board of Management. It is not-for-profit and, as part of Louisburgh Childcare, is a registered charity.
Fees
Fees are charged at €40 per child for a full day and €25 per child for a half day. As this is a Tusla-registered service parents can apply for subsidies through the National Childcare Scheme.
Calendar & opening hours
The creche opens Monday to Friday from 8.30am-5.30pm for 48 weeks of the year, closing for two weeks at Chrstmas and for two weeks in August. See link to Calendar below.
Facilities
The creche provides a hot meal to all children attending for a full day (those attending half day can add a meal to their booking). There is a separate sleep room for those napping in cots and a quiet area with toddler beds within the main room. There is also an age-appropriate outdoor play area.
Ethos
To provide high quality childcare, accessible to all families in the community, for children aged one years to school age and in conjunction with the pre-school.
Our team
All staff working in the creche are Garda Vetted, have a minimum Level 5 Qualification in Early Years Childcare and are first aid and HACCP trained.
